John Robert Wooden

Wooden, born October 14, 1910. He grew up in Hall, Indiana but moved to Centerton in 1918. He then moved to Martinsville when he turned 14, he led his school, Martinsville High School, to state champions

 He became a NBA Basketball Coach.

 

 

He lead VCLA to 10 national titles. 6 time NCAA College Basketball coach of the year. Basketball hall of fame and college Basketball hall of fame.
